人生如沧海一粟,应该活得潇洒愉快

人生有几多个十年? 最紧要痛快.
应该活的轰轰烈烈;
做该做的事, 爱想爱的人,
除该除的恶,杀该杀的奸.

Top 40 already like Finalists
(25 September 2010/11:02 PM)

Just watched the latest One Million Stars / 超级星光大道
Amazing...okay, not really.
But somehow amazed.
It's just the Top 40 and they already performing like Finalists.
Apart from Bag-girl 背包客 黄如琦, the one I'm supporting in One Million Stars VII 星光7
I spotted 2 finale of the day which worth sharing.

Okay, for those who ain't sure how this work out, here it is:
From the start, they chose 44 from 78 participants right..
So 4 teachers - Chen Jian Ning, Yuan Wei Ren, Huang Yun Ling and David Huang will each take 11.
Then, they will PK each other.
The winners of each PK will versus each other.
So for the past 2 weeks, we had Tcher Chen against Tcher David and Tcher Huang against Tcher Yuan.
And this week we have Tcher Chen against Tcher Huang, so apparently they won the previous ones.

Representing Chen Jian Ning's team,
Song Composer of 星光7 & One of my Ideal Top15 Finalist;
背包客, 黄如琦 - Bizarre Love Triangle

Also representing Chen Jian Ning's team,
李佳薇 & 陳廷婷. Jess Lee 李佳薇 is also in my 'Ideal Top15 Finalist' list.
李佳薇 & 陳廷婷 - When You Believe

Representing Huang Yun Ling's team,

Rantings.
(22 September 2010/6:42 PM)

My 2010 Mid-Autumn Festival sucks..
Well, in fact, my mid-autumn festival ever since don't know how many centuries ago already turned out like this.
This year's especially suck, besides having no mooncake, no moon-watching, no lanterns, no candles to play with, shits happened.
Has got nothing to do with academic, love & money.
So readers should have gotten it, right?

The hint is clear..
Teenager like me and you probably, won't have much things to worry about, no jobs, no economic crisis, no unemployment etc.
Only School, Family, Relationships & Money.

Yes... though it has got nothing to do with me (actually it does),
I'm still gonna care a little bit.
But I have no rights, no say, no nothing.
So am just gonna dwell over it & affect my mood.

Back to term 4 week 2.
New timetable and I think I love it a lot.
Morning runs (as in really jogging) on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Leading a healthy lifestyle is very important for us teenagers, especially when we have to spend hours sitting down to revise our work. Exercising helps us to think clearer. So I find it meaningful, though I don't appreciate it at all. (I find it difficult to run now and I don't know why)

Social studies is really tough for me -.-
Having English as my second language, I find it rather hard in Inference Question..
I think it's mainly because my inference skills sucks.
& I have no chapters which I'm comfortable with -.-
Miss Foong's teaching method really differs from my learning style (though I'm suppose to be adaptable)

Sciences are cool, I love my physics class (it's Band 3)
As I really suck in sciences, now that I'm in a smaller class, I can get more attention ^^
PS : I would have failed PSLE Science if it's not because of those general knowledge.
Chemistry's remedial class is better than during normal lessons... :O

Mathematics is okay...
Besides being slower in terms of solving speed, I think I'm okay with this subject.
I hate every question that has got something to do with shapes anyway. :@

Geography is the subject I love most, prior to Mother Tongue Chinese which is already over.
I love nature and I find this subject rather comfortable to deal with, though my results flashed in red every time. -.-"
Now that there's an online assignment weekly for us to do, I find it even cooler.
Typing the answers out is awesome, cos I will never get 'please write legibly' anymore

F&N.. okay, forget about it.

For English, yes, needless to say, I'm in the intensive remedial class.
Hopefully I can get at least a C6 for O's :

Besides worrying that I may ended up in ITE (most probably)
I'll still give my best shot, putting in my 90% for this remaining 30 days.
If I really made it to Poly, I'll most probably be in Republic.
Not bad also right... see how, lah.
Take note that I said see 'how' not 'fate', cos only I can decide my own fate. ^^

Ending my rantings here and hereby wishing you all a Happy Mooncake Festival!

Mid-Autumn Festival
(21 September 2010/10:54 PM)

More about Mid-Autumn Festival

春江潮水连海平,
海上明月共潮生,
花好月圆人团聚,
祝福声声伴你行

Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节), or Moon Festival, and also commonly known by people nowadays as Mooncake Festival is a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese and Vietnamese people, dating back over 3,000 years to moon worship in China's Shang Dynasty (618-907).

It is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is usually around late September or early October in the Gregorian calendar. It is a date that parallels the autumnal equinox of the solar calendar, when the moon is supposedly at its fullest and roundest. The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties.

Mooncake

Mooncakes are traditionally eaten during Mid-Autumn Festival, for lunar worship and moon-watching.
It is regarded as an indispensable delicacy on this occasion and often offered to family and friends whom are celebrating this occasion together.

Typical mooncakes are round or rectangular pastries, measuring about 10 cm in diameter and 4-5 cm thick. A thick filling usually made from lotus seed paste is surrounded by a relatively thin (2-3 mm) crust and may contain yolks from salted duck eggs. Mooncakes are usually eaten in small wedges accompanied by Chinese tea.

Mooncakes consist of a thin tender skin enveloping a sweet, dense filling. The mooncake may contain one or more whole salted egg yolks in its centre to symbolise the full moon. Very rarely, mooncakes are also served steamed or fried.
Traditional mooncakes have an imprint on top consisting of the Chinese characters for "longevity" or "harmony" as well as the name of the bakery and the filling in the moon cake. Imprints of the moon, the Chang'e woman on the moon, flowers, vines, or a rabbit (symbol of the moon) may surround the characters for additional decoration

Story behind Mooncake
A legend goes that mooncakes were first made in the 14th Century, when people exchanged pancakes that were stuck with slips of paper reading "Kill the Mongols on the 15th day of the eighth month". It was said to be a secret message from rebel leader Zhu Yuanzhang calling on the Chinese to overthrow the Mongolian rulers of the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368). Conceived by Zhu Yuanzhang (朱元璋) and his advisor Liu Bowen (劉伯溫), who circulated a rumor that a deadly plague was spreading and the only way to prevent it was to eat special mooncakes. This prompted the quick distribution of mooncakes, which were used to hide a secret message coordinating the Han Chinese revolt on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.

Another method of hiding the message was printed in the surface of mooncakes as a simple puzzle or mosaic. In order to read the encrypted message, each of the four mooncakes packaged together must be cut into four parts each. The 16 pieces of mooncake, must then be pieced together in such a fashion that the secret messages can be read. The pieces of mooncake are then eaten to destroy the message

Stories of Hou Yi and Chang'e

Story 1
It is said that long ago there used to be 10 suns in the sky. Each day, one of the suns would travel around the sky on a carriage driven by Xihe, the mother of the suns. One day, unexpectedly, all 10 suns simultaneously appeared in the sky, which instantly dried the crops and caused disaster to the people on earth.

Hou Yi, a local archer, had great sympathy for people's sufferings from the blistering weather and decided to help them out. Houyi climbed up to the summit of Kunlun Mountains and shot down the suns leaving only one to benefit people. After he shot down the sun, Hou Yi became a hero who was revered by local people.

Later, Hou Yi married a beautiful girl—Chang'e. The young couple lived a happy and sweet life.

Hou Yi was so famous for his perfect archery skills that he had a lot of apprentices, including the unrighteous Peng Meng. One day when Hou Yi was on the way to visit his friend, the Queen Mother of the West gave him an elixir of immortality as a reward for his heroic undertaking. Meanwhile, he warned Hou Yi "Do not swallow this pill before preparing yourself with prayer and fasting for a year". Hou Yi gave the elixir to Chang'e for safekeeping and she took it as a treasure and hid it in her jewelry box. Unfortunately, Peng Meng found this secret and made a plan to steal it. Several days later, when Hou Yi and other apprentices went out for hunting, Peng pretended to fall ill and stayed at home. After they left, Peng forced Chang'e to give him the elixir. Chang'e, knowing that she could not defeat Peng, swallowed the elixir herself, and mmediately she felt herself floating up and flied to the sky. With deep love to her husband, Chang'e chose to be an immortal on the moon, closest to the earth; then she could see her husband every day.

In late afternoon, Hou Yi came back and was told what had happened. Heart-stricken, Hou Yi went to the back garden and called his wife's name ceaselessly. Surprisingly, he found that the moon was extremely
clean and bright that night; and that there was a moving figure like Chang'e in the moon. Hou Yi desperately tried to catch up with the moon, but he could not do it. Hou Yi then asked servants to set a table in his back garden and with his wife's favorite snacks and fruits on it. In a short time, more and more people heard about the news that Chang'e had become an immortal, and they also put tables under the moon to pray to Chang'e for good fortune and safety. From then on, the custom of worshipping the moon on the Mid-Autumn Festival began to spread in China.

Story 2
According to legend, Chang'e and her husband Houyi were immortals living in heaven. One day, the ten sons of the Jade Emperor transformed into ten suns, causing the earth to scorch. Having failed to order his sons to stop ruining the earth, the Jade Emperor summoned Houyi for help. Houyi, using his legendary archery skills, shot down nine of the sons, but spared one son to be the sun. The Jade Emperor was obviously not pleased with Houyi's solution to save the earth: nine of his sons were dead. As punishment, the Jade Emperor banished Houyi and Chang'e to live as mere mortals on earth.

Seeing that Chang'e felt extremely miserable over her loss of immortality, Houyi decided to journey on a long, perilous quest to find the pill of immortality so that the couple could be immortals again. At the end of his quest he met the Queen Mother of the West who agreed to give him the pill, but warned him that each person would only need half the pill to become immortal.
Houyi brought the pill home and stored it in a case. He warned Chang'e not to open the case and then left home for a while. Like Pandora in Greek mythology, Chang'e became too curious: she opened up the case and found the pill just as Houyi was returning home. Nervous that Houyi would catch her discovering the contents of the case, she accidentally swallowed the entire pill. She started to float into the sky because of the overdose. Although Houyi wanted to shoot her in order to prevent her from floating further, he could not bear to aim the arrow at her. Chang'e kept on floating until she landed on the moon.

While she became lonely on the moon without her husband, she did have company. A jade rabbit, who manufactured elixirs, also lived on the moon. The mythologies of Japan and Korea also feature references about rabbits living on the moon.

Another companion is the woodcutter Wu Gang. The woodcutter offended the gods in his attempt to achieve immortality and was therefore banished on the moon. Wu Gang was allowed to leave the moon if he could cut down a tree that grew there. The problem was that each time he chopped the tree, the tree would instantly grow back, effectively condemning him to live on the moon for eternity.

Story 3
Chang'e was a beautiful young girl working in the Jade Emperor's palace in heaven, where immortals, good people and fairies lived. One day, she accidentally broke a precious porcelain jar. Angered, the Jade Emperor banished her to live on earth, where ordinary people lived. She could return to the Heaven, if she contributed a valuable service on earth.

Chang'e was transformed into a member of a rich farming family. When she was 18, a young hunter named Houyi from another village spotted her, now a beautiful young woman. They became friends.

One day, a strange phenomenon occurred—10 suns arose in the sky instead of one, blazing the earth. Houyi, an expert archer, stepped forward to try to save the earth. He successfully shot down nine of the suns, becoming an instant hero. He eventually became king and married Chang'e.

But Houyi grew to become greedy and selfish. He sought immortality by ordering an elixir be created to prolong his life. The elixir in the form of a single pill was almost ready when Chang'e came upon it. She either accidentally or purposely swallowed the pill. This angered King Houyi, who went after his wife. Trying to flee, she jumped out the window of a chamber at the top of palace—and, instead of falling, she floated into the sky toward the moon. King Houyi tried unsuccessfully to shoot her down with arrows.

In contrast to the first version, her companion, a rabbit, does not create elixir of life. Aside from the rabbit, the moon is also inhabited by a woodcutter who tries to cut down the cassia tree, giver of life. But as fast as he cuts into the tree, it heals itself, and he never makes any progress. The Chinese use this image of the cassia tree to explain mortal life on earth—the limbs are constantly being cut away by death, but new buds continually appear.

Meanwhile, King Houyi ascended to the sun and built a palace. So Chang'e and Houyi came to represent the yin and yang, the moon and the sun.

Taking a break!
(16 September 2010/8:43 PM)

Taking a break off the F&N revision, so here I am blogging!
Don't feel like blogging about life so let me blog about something random.
Hmmm... FIBA's over & NBA season has yet to start..
so.... basketball's out.
Ain't watching any new drama series now..
so... review's out.
How about One Million Star/超级星光大道?

One Million Star VII Top 44 - Huang Ru Qi/黄如琦

This 25 year-old lady caught my attention.
Though with ordinary features, her appearance were outstanding.
She carries a backpack as she sings and she said that it's because of the sense of security it gives to her.

And I totally agree with this phrase which I saw somewhere.

'黃如琦,從她身上,
我看到了陳琦真的無雜質,看到了徐佳瑩的靈性;
也看到了綜合曾沛慈跟魏如昀兩人所擁有的素人內斂跟創作能量.
我非常相信,這將會是一顆星
!'

It is mentioned that Huang Ru Qi is a potential star, shadowing after many successful Taiwanese singers.
We're able to see Cheer Chen/陈绮贞's impurity, Lala Shu/徐佳莹's spirituality and the combination of Pets Ceng/曾沛慈's elemental control and Queen Wei/魏如昀's intelligence in composing.

Let her performances prove to you her awesomeness okay.

Huang Ru Qi 黄如琦 singing her composed song 为什么/Why
in Top44 Qualifying Round of One Million Star VII

Huang Ru Qi 黄如琦's composed song [Full & Recorded]

Lyrics of 为什么

No Title (It's actually one)
(14 September 2010/10:28 PM)

Okay.. before I turn in for the day, I have something to say!
My 'plan' was carried out, so what is it exactly?
I managed to spend 1 full hour on revision.
How I wish I could extend that period of time -.-"
I just can't sit still on my seat and do my work..
That's how you describe someone who is hyperactive.
Well, at least I managed to control my time on PPS.

6 is the number of weeks away from 'O' Level first written paper.
36 is the number of days away from " " " " ".
I'll try not to get myself involved in any sports activities for 36 days,
and spend all my extra time on revision.
Hoping that I'll be able to do it..
'Do it', as in able to do my best...
and not let myself down & regret in the future.
Oh well, my Prelims II results are horrendous by the way.

So, will not be joining my classmates for football tomorrow.
I'll go home straight after school & start on my Geography.
I started work at 7.30pm today and ended off with only 1/8 work done.
3 hours on 1/8... so I think I need a day for my Geography...
Hah... -.-"

Before I end off, DID YOU GUYS KNOW ABOUT THIS?!
USA won Turkey in the 2010 FIBA Championship!
It's their first gold EVER SINCE 1994.
This 'TEAM B' created history, and proved the people who doubted them wrong!
They would most probably be representing the US in basketball in the 2012 Olympics.
So people, keep a lookout on them alright.
And yes, 2012 Olympics will come, and we will laugh at the film 2012 in year 2013.
-.- I still wish that people focused more on what the film 2012 is trying to convey,
which is, the Earth's sinking due to global warming.
In other words, the message is : Save our Earth!
Whatever..

US 'Team B' of 12 celebrating.

Updates.
(12 September 2010/9:34 PM)

Nei ho! (Hi in Cantonese/Ni Hao in Mandarin)
I had just tidied up my 'Exits', removed those broken links & deleted blogs.
Can't believe that almost 30% of my links were led to nowhere.
This is what you'll get for not blog-hopping for ages.

My first written paper is scheduled on 25th October.
Knowing that it's drawing near, and to be within a month time soon, I'm starting to feel it.
So I actually planned to stop my PPS-spree, and do some work.
I'd came up with my own timetable.
My time for PPS will only be on Saturday 2-5pm and 5-6pm on a weekday.
I think this is the least I could do with.
My life revolves around entertainment-tv (kind of no life, hah!)

Well, tomorrow morning will be 2010 FIBA World Championship Finals.
My favourite team, USA will fight against undefeated finalist & host-nation, Turkey.
For those who think that Turkey ain't that strong, think again.
Turkey not only has players which are in NBA as well, they also gain the advantage for being at home.
Every time the Americans got their hands on the ball, the audience will blow their vuvuzela like never before, it causes more than disruptions & distractions to the players.
But what's more than their desires for Golds?
The Americans never had one ever since 1994.

Alright.. let's hope that things go well & better after today!
Cheerios!
Zoi gin! (Good-bye in Cantonese)

2010 FIBA World Championship / Team USA
(11 September 2010/12:44 PM)

2010 FIBA World Championship

More about FIBA World Championship
Similar to FIFA World Cup, the international football competition, FIBA World Championship is an international basketball competition.

The International Basketball Federation (French: Fédération Internationale de Basket-ball), more commonly known by the French acronym FIBA.
Originally known as the Fédération Internationale de Basketball Amateur (hence FIBA).
In 1989 it dropped the Amateur from its official name but retained the initialism, because of the first two letters of the word basketball.

A total of 214 national federations are now members, organized since 1989 into five zones or "commissions": Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

2010 FIBA World Championship
The 2010 FIBA World Championship is hosted by Turkey. The tournament runs from August 28 to September 12, 2010. It is co-organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Turkish Basketball Federation and the 2010 Organizing Committee. Once, his nanny van (保姆车) hit a folk music student Crystal Liu Yifei, and the strange action of Liu Yifei not checking on her injuries first, but playing her guzheng, combined with the music flowing from the guzheng, caught the curiosity and favour of Wang Lee Hom. Immediately, he decided to slip into the conservatory with his good friend-cum-band partner Chen Han Dian, searching for Liu Yifei’s “overtones” (弦外之音).

Trailer:

Review:
A simple story-line film, though I'm no fan of Wang Lee-hom, I still find him okay in this film.
I like this film a lot all thanks to the presence of Chen Han Dian/陈汉典. As I'm a regular viewer of Taiwanese Variety Show, Kang Xi Lai Le/康熙来了 (Hosted by S & 蔡康永), I like the presence of Han Dian bringing humour to the show. There was this episode whereby they invited Wang Lee-hom as special guest. Han Dian was teased by the 2 hosts for being a friend of a 'star', leaving him blushing & speechless. The entertainment value was high for that episode. Back to the film, Wang Lee-hom is drawing himself nearer to Jay Chou. They now shares more similarity, besides being a Mandarin-pop star, they had proven their abilities to direct & act in films. Let's hope the 2 of them will bring to us more awesome products! ^_^

Now that I had my URL changed, I can't find myself in the search engine; Google, anymore.
I have to work my way up to the top again..
Meanwhile, I'll enjoy the diversions!
Cheers!

Kara Hui / 惠英红

Synopsis:
Set during the Tang Dynasty of China, it tells the story of the Third Princess, Princess Zhao Yang/昭陽公主 (Charmaine Sheh), of the Tang Emperor (Samuel Kwok), who is beautiful but very unreasonable, and, as such, no one wants to marry her. The Jin family/金家 is the largest gold manufacturer in the grand capital Chang'An, but because they are deceived, the business runs into troubles. The second son of the Jin family Jin Duo Lu/金多祿 (Moses Chan) has to marry the Third Princess to save the family business, because then they will have the right to manufacture gold pieces for the Tang Palace, the Third Princess only agreeing to the marriage because otherwise she would be married off to the Tibetan royal family, as schemed by the evil Concubine Wei/韦贵妃 (Kara Hui).

The Princess brings lots of servants to the Jin family after marrying Jin Duo Lu, and constantly comes into conflict with the members of the Jin family (Lee Heung Kam/金太夫人, Susanna Kwan/丁来喜, Selena Li/阮小玉, Louis Yuen/金多福, Raymond Wong/金多寿). The Princess brings Situ YinPin/司徒银屏 (Fala Chen), with her to the Jin family, who has been awarded "Best Servant" by the Concubine Dowager Chui/崔太妃 (Susan Tse). The Princess originally decides to leave the house, but when she misunderstands that the Jin family speaks negatively of her, she stubbornly stays. Later, she and Jin Duo Lu fall in love. When the Jin family is convicted of a capital offence, she divorces Jin Duo Lu to secretly save the Jin family.

Review:
Okay, it's yet another unruly-princess-turns-good-storyline.
But nonetheless, it never bores me with this same old plot.
I've watched several drama series with the similar storyline, a rich lady or princess(usually the main female lead) meets a guy (the male main lead, duh) and they fell in love. Before falling in love, male either don't know that female is from a rich family or female is unruly stubborn and thinks that money can do everything, until the male does all sorts of things that touched her, then she changed her thinking and they fell in love.

Well, this drama series gives me a lot of flashbacks upon watching;

Firstly
, the Jin Family/金家 reminds me of Virtues of Harmony/皆大欢喜 where they also used the as their family name. (金年//).
Not just that, the family is filled with family warmth, and focuses a lot on Family Unity.
In this series, the grandma often comes up with 'Daily Jin Family spirit/'金家精神
followed by a sequel of 'spirit clap' that consists of 11 claps.
(The typical cheer-clapping)

Secondly
, the costumes worn by the characters are similar to Beyond the Realm of Conscience/宫心计. Well, it is mentioned that this drama series is an indirect sequel of the previously mentioned drama. They both shares a similar lavish costumes and sets, cast members, and close time period (both set during the Tang Dynasty of China.) Most importantly, they shares the same producer, Miu Siu Ching.

Lastly
, it's the name of the characters!
in Beyond the Realm of Conscience they have Liu San Hao/刘三好 (Charmaine Sheh)
in this Can't Buy Me Love, we have Wu Si De/吴四德 (Linda Chung)
三好 refers to 说好话做好事存好心.
四德 refers to the in 三从四德

I'm currently at episode 11 only!
21 more episodes, release soon soon ah!
:@
Cheers!

Summary:
Pu Song Ling/蒲松齡 (Steven Ma) and Gao Zhe/高喆 or Shuang Ji/双吉 (Sunny Chan) are good friends, a Young Master of a printing business which is in charge of the whole of China, which includes Capital Palace, and a righteous town-hero police constable respectively.
Song Ling's dad, Pu Pan is a businessman, therefore he always 'bribe' capital officials, so as to get things done easier. Song Ling is aware of it, and on an occasion, he misunderstood his dad for being the mastermind of some crime. A high-rank official ordered his dad to get rid of villagers from Niu village, as the land is to be rebuilt into a prosperous port, but Head of Magistrate's police force, Wei Chong hired a man to act as the fox demon to scare off the villagers even before Pu Pan has the chance to persuade. Things gotten worst and someone is scared to death.
Song Ling and Shuang Ji set an ambush and went to pursue the 'fox demon' as soon as they found out that it is human's act. During the pursuit, Song Ling was almost killed but luckily Linghu Xiao Cui/令狐小翠 (Fala Chen) comes to his rescue in the nick of time.
Xiao Cui happens to be the fox that Pu Pan had set free many years ago, when he were facing a major problem in business. He mentioned this: 'I set this fox free today, but who would free me from all these?' To repay his benefactor, Xiao Cui did the Pu Family a great favour. When Song Ling was born, he couldn't cry, it was all thanks to Xiao Cui's doing by smashing the roof clays to create a sharp noise that causes this baby to be 'normal'. It is fate, that Xiao Cui actually get to meet Song Ling again after so many years. Xiao Cui just attained human form after 500 years of cultivation. She couldn't speak proper language and on the first meet-up with Song Ling, she actually fell for him. Xiao Cui's grandfather soon came to bring her back to their home, knowing that the Human's world is too tough for the naive-her.
The Po family has secured a large order of New Year printing, to ensure work to be done and submitted on time, they have to hire a large number of workers. Liu Xin Ru/柳心如 (Linda Chung) applies for the job, with a real intention of finding out the whereabouts of her sister, Liu Xin Yan/柳心妍 (Elaine Yiu). It is later found out that her sister is dead, and the murderer is actually a high rank official, father of her lover. Xin Yan, actually appeared in ghost form due to heavy grievance to point out her 'murderer', accusing Song Ling's cousin, as she thought that the real murderer is her lover, not knowing that that accident actually didn't killed her, but the official suffocated her after she passed out.
Xin Ru went through hard & toughs with both Song Ling & Shuang Ji, and eventually they fell into a love triangle. Shuang Ji fell for Xin Ru and he made it clear to people, not wanting to hurt their good friend, Xin Ru & Song Ling kept their relationship underground.
Shuang Ji asked for marriage from Xin Ru, and not wanting to disappoint him, Xin Ru accepted it. However, just 1 day before the day of marriage, Shuang Ji found out about the relationships between Song Ling & Xin Ru, and from then on, he seems to suffered from a split personality disorder. Shuang Ji behaved strangely as he turned into a villain of the show. He got rid of all the corrupted officials & gained high authority. He was eventually killed by the 'good self' in the last episode.
Xin Ru was killed by Shuang Ji in Episode 24, whereby she appeared in ghost form.
Song Ling couldn't see her as they were separated, so Xiao Cui helped them by lending her body to Xin Ru. Xiao Cui initially didn't want to help Xin Ru, but knowing how much their love really is, she chose to give them their blessings. All she wanted was to stay by the side of Song Ling.
As Song Ling was also killed in the last episode, Xiao Cui gave up her 500 years of immortality to keep him alive. Xiao Cui, after saying her last words, was turned back into a fox.
Xin Ru gave up the chance to reincarnate, willingly stayed by the side of Pu Song Ling, who still is a human. Years passed after years, Pu Song Ling aged while Xin Ru the ghost and Xiao Cui the fox remained the same, stayed by his side as he writes 《聊斋》.

History:
The series is inspired by the famous cycle of Chinese love folktales "聊斋" (Ghost Story), with the protagonist in the series being the author of the stories, who would be later inspired to write them based on his own encounters with the supernatural. There is plenty of '聊斋' drama series made, revolving around a love triangle of a human, ghost & fox spirit.

Review:
The third time Linda Chung & Steven Ma collaborated in a drama series as a couple!
Those I could remember is Watchdog's Tales/老友狗狗 & A Journey Called Life/金石良缘.
Also, it's one of the 5 collaborations of Linda Chung & Fala Chen!
1st being Heart of Greed/溏心风暴
2nd is A Journey Called Life/金石良缘
3rd is Moonlight Resonance/溏心风暴之家好月园
4th is Ghost Writer/蒲松龄
& the most recent; Can't Buy Me Love/公主嫁到
Okay, that's cool, eh?
Well, Fala Chen's cast as the cute lil fox spirit is really awesome!
I'm now trying to catch all those nice shows I'd both watched & missed.
Some of them are Heart Of Greed & Rosy Business.
Mainly due to the reason that Fala Chen is in the cast.
If you're wondering why Rosy Business when Fala Chen isn't in it, then I would tell you this:
'Fala Chen will be acting as supporting role in No Regrets; the sequel of Rosy Business'
Meanwhile, I'm catching Can't Buy Me Love daily as it's uploaded.
Can't Buy Me Love review will be up soon.
恋爱通告 / Love In Disguise will be followed behind.
Heart of Greed & Moonlight Resonance should be after the above.
Well, stay tune, peeps!
